TEAM FURY!

Had a nice easy run with Team Fury (Fall Team in Training crew) this morning. This season's "photo contest" is going to be for the SF Bay Area team that has the most photos posted with us posing with Flat Stanley and/or Flat Summer. Below are a couple photos from today. Tomorrow, Sunday 6/10, I embark on a longer run with my running buddy Charlene in preparation for the "Dirty Half Dozen" race in July. San Diego Rock 'n' Roll!

Last weekend we flew out to San Diego for another run that benefited the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This was our last official race that we participated in for the Team in Training "summer season" with "Team Josh." While we are wrapping up, a few teammates are tapering in preparation for the Mayor's Marathon in Alaska and wish them well.

San Diego was such a fun trip! We spent time with our friends, visited the race expo, had an amazing Inspiration Dinner with over 6,000 other TNT participants, raced the streets of San Diego and got in a "date day" before flying home.

We are now on to the new "fall TNT season" with "Team Fury!" Thanks to friends, family, social media and business connections, I received many generous donations for my "Birthday Wish" of raising money to help find a cure for blood cancers. Way to go everyone!
